padi sElf Reliant Diver course
Only for all experienced divers who want to dive alone!
PADI Self Reliant Diver Course was developed for more advanced divers, to encourage them to become more self-reliant in case of solo diving. Specialty is NOT for everyone, every participant need to take it seriously, especialy if u are planing to take it. We recommend specialty for advanced divers, who want to improve already learned skills, sometimes in combination with future scuba education.
Specialty is ideal for:
- UW Photographer
- UW videographer
- Morine biology divers
- Divemasters
- Rescue divers who want to become also Divemasters
- Technical Divers
- Scuba instructors
Over specialty we will explain potencial problems which exist if u conduct solo diving. As well we will learn how to calculate air consumption - SAC. We will talk about safety procedure, that self-reliant diving become more safe and fun. Every self-reliant diver should know also basic problem about protection suit - zipper should be in the front!
Minimum requirements
- Be at least PADI AOWD certify or equivalent
- At least 100 log dives
- At least 18 years old
Durity of specialty: 1 day
What is incl. in Self-Reliant Specialty:
- theory - power point presentation of instructor
- 3 dives supervised by instructor
Equipment u will use:
- double tanks - sidemount, backmount, mono cylinder + stage or pony stage
- we recommend use of dry suit
- buoy or lift-baloon with at least 30m rope on reel
- 2 knifes
- recommend of backup mask
Price: 175€
Every participant need own set of equipment incl. additional air sourse, kompas, buoy. We also provide equipment rental.
